Nick Maslanka has worked in the technology field for over 10 years. Nick started out as a Technical Account Manager at SWC Technology Partners, where they were responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients and served as a senior escalation point and subject matter expert for all client-related needs. Nick was then promoted to Lead Systems Engineer at Wonderlic, where they were responsible for helpdesk and NOC management, as well as regular review of key performance metrics and oversight of proactive systems optimization effort. Nick has also managed mission-critical infrastructures of over 100 physical/virtual servers consisting of multiple highly-available Hyper-V, SQL, and Windows Server clusters. Nick is currently the Technology Officer at XL.net, where they are responsible for evaluating log aggregation tool for organization-wide adoption, articulating viability to leadership, successfully gaining buy-in and approval for many long-abandoned projects for multiple clients, and proposing and managing complex, five-year technology roadmap and IaaS/SaaS viability analysis.
Nick Maslanka has a Level 3 Award in Wines from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, where they earned a Pass with Merit and Distinction in Theory. Nick also has a degree from Bradley University and a degree from Benet Academy.
