Hersh Patel

Hersh Patel has over 20 years of turnkey IT experience, serving as the CEO/Principal Consultant at XL Solutions Group since 2010. Hersh specializes in software design, architecture, development, integration, and implementation, with expertise in comprehensive, integrated services for various enterprise solutions.

Prior to their current role, Hersh worked as the Director of Professional Services at G1440 from 2009. Hersh led a digital marketing firm, overseeing the design and development of user-centered websites and mobile applications. Hersh also managed software integrations for home builder, waste management, and insurance companies, as well as led a team of web developers and digital marketing experts.

Before that, Hersh worked as the NISC III Program Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Lockheed Martin from 2007 to 2014. Hersh was responsible for designing and leading mission-critical applications for the FAA, incorporating various design patterns and implementing inversion of control and dependency injection design construction.

Hersh also served as a Senior IT Client Consultant/Architect at AT&T from 2007 to 2011, leading projects for insurance companies and healthcare companies. Hersh utilized the .NET framework for application development.

In addition, Hersh worked as a Senior Technical Consultant at i4DM from 2005 to 2007, contributing to the rewrite of Maryland's driver's license system and point-of-sale system using .NET 2.0. Hersh also has experience as a Software Developer at Legg Mason from 2004 to 2005, where they designed reporting systems and integrated proprietary systems with external accounting systems.

Hersh Patel holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from John Hopkins University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
