Sandeep Singh Kohli

Sandeep Singh Kohli has extensive work experience in the field of technology and innovation. Sandeep Singh is currently serving as the Director of AI-based SaaS portfolios at Xlscout, where they manage the XLPAT and XLScout platforms. Sandeep Singh leads research activities to combine NLP, GPT, BERT with Systematic Innovation methods to generate a future Innovation database and create innovations and innovative triggers.

Prior to their current role, Sandeep was a Co-Founder at XLPAT Labs since 2012. Before that, they worked at TT Consultants for several years, starting as a Research Associate and eventually working their way up to Vice President of Product Development. Their responsibilities at TT Consultants included leading the product development department and managing a team of developers for software application development. Sandeep Singh also focused on innovating and generating new ideas for automated patent search and analytics using AI and machine learning technologies.

Sandeep's early work experience includes a brief stint as a Trainee at Unisule Private Limited in 2006 and as a Trainee in the CPP Department of Ranbaxy in 2005. Their work at Ranbaxy involved checking the bioequivalence of two drugs to ensure their launch into the market as generic drugs.

Sandeep Singh Kohli has a diverse educational background. In 2022-2023, they attended the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies, where they pursued a degree in Artificial Intelligence. Prior to that, in 2010-2011, Sandeep completed a Design Thinking certificate program at the Indian School of Business. In 2009-2010, they obtained a postgraduate diploma in Patent Law from the National Academy of Legal Studies & Research (NALSAR) University Hyderabad. Sandeep's undergraduate education was focused on Biotechnology, as they completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree at Kurukshetra University between 2003 and 2007. In terms of additional certifications, Sandeep acquired proficiency in Python through a course called "Excel to Python" provided by the Vector Institute in April 2022. In May 2019, they received training from the United States Patent and Trade Office, earning a certificate on the "Use of AI, ML & DL in Automating Patent Examination Process & Ideation." Lastly, Sandeep became an Indian Patent Agent after successfully completing the necessary training and certification by the Government of India in June 2011.
