Ed Clarke

Ed Clarke is a seasoned professional in the semiconductor industry with extensive experience in hardware and firmware development. Currently serving as a Senior Applications Engineer and Director of Technical Marketing at XMOS Semiconductor Ltd since April 2007, Ed previously held the position of Product Line Manager at Altera Europe from March 2001 to April 2007. Earlier in the career, Ed worked as a Senior Field Applications Engineer at Hitachi Ltd. from September 1997 to March 2001 and as a Design Engineer at Hitachi Micro Systems Europe from October 1994 to April 1996, focusing on microcontroller support tools. Ed Clarke holds a BEng Hons in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol, completed in 1994.
