Nicholas Molnar has over 10 years of work experience. In 2022, they joined XMTP Labs as a Staff Software Engineer. From 2019 to 2022 they worked at Brex as a Senior Software Engineer, shipping at least 10 microservices as the lead or sole developer and helping the company hit some impossible deadlines for big new products. From 2015 to 2019 they were the Director of Application Development - Search & Tools at Clique Media Group, where they overhauled their shopping platform, moving from a monolithic PHP app to a distributed system written in Node.js, Python, and Go. From 2011 to 2015 they were the Co-founder of Wantering, where they worked on dozens of products and internal tools supporting their fashion search engine. From 2009 to 2011 they were the Director of Technical Awesomeness at Fuck Cancer, where they won a FWA Award, a Webby Award, and raised millions of dollars for early detection of cancer. Nicholas also worked at Thirdi Software from 2009 to 2011 as a Web Strategist & Partner, where they worked closely with the designers, developers, and end-users, and clients to make sure that everyone was on the same page, and moving towards the same goals.
Nicholas Molnar attended Collingwood School from 2000 to 2004 and McGill University from 2004 to 2008. Nicholas also attended Shaughnessy Elementary prior to these institutions.
