💻 John Sloan

John Sloan has been working in the software engineering field since 2000. 💻 began their career at Delphi as an Audio Software Validation Engineer, where they wrote software tools to aid in the testing efforts of the team. In 2005, they worked as a Distribution Specialist at Gander Mountain before joining Purdue University as a Database Programmer in 2006. From 2007 to 2014, they worked at Kirby Risk as an Applications Developer and Help Desk Specialist. During their time there, they designed and developed custom modules for the company's ERP software, resulting in a reduction of labor costs of over $1,500,000. In 2012, they joined HARMAN International as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were a key contributor to the design and development of the embedded automotive infotainment application. In 2019, they joined XOi Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer and Cloud Engineer.

John Sloan received their A.S. in Computer Technology from Purdue University between 1999 and 2001. 💻 then attended Indiana University Kokomo and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Elementary Education and Teaching from 2001 to 2004.
