Katya Shartukh

Katya Shartukh has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Katya began their career as a Casting Assistant at Belarusfilm in 2011. In 2013, they moved to Itransition Group as a Junior QA. In 2015, they joined EPAM - DEP as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where they collaborated with product management and design teams to streamline QA processes, worked within an Agile process with Rally to track and manage user stories and document defects, worked with Customer Support team triaging production bugs, developed test cases against business requirements using Test Rail, used Java based Selenium /Test NG framework to create automated scripts, used Chrome Dev Tool to get and debug locators that will be used by Test Automation, often utilized simulators and emulators for compatibility testing, verified the defects, investigated problems, and followed up with developers on the results, and performed different types of testing based on development phase and business requirements. In 2017, they moved to Paylocity as a Quality Assurance Engineer. In 2021, they joined XOi Technologies as a QA Engineer and Penguin Random House as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where they tested Web, Android, and IOS for the project eCommerce for ReadBrightly.com, and tested key features such as the selection of age-appropriate books that match a child's interests, purchasing books from different retailers, and filtering titles and articles.

Katya Shartukh received a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the Institute of Entrepreneurial activity between 2008 and 2013.
