Brian Desmith

Brian DeSmith has extensive experience in the plastics injection molding industry, currently serving as a consultant at BDS Consulting LLC since February 2024. Previously, Brian held the position of Director of Manufacturing Engineering at Colson Group - USA, overseeing a team dedicated to manufacturing excellence across multiple plants. Brian's tenure at GE Appliances, spanning over a decade, involved leading the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team for plastics, where responsibilities included design for manufacturing, mold flow simulations, and mentoring engineering talent. Earlier roles include Director of Advanced Engineering at Delta Technologies Group and Purchasing Agent at Textron Automotive Corp. Education includes two Associate's degrees in Business Administration and Management, earned at Northwestern Michigan College.
