Andrew Barnes

Andrew Barnes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and management within the logistics and oil & gas sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at xpd global since April 2024, Barnes previously held the position of Global Sales Executive at Expeditors from September 2018 to August 2023. Prior roles include UK Sales Director and Managing Director at Crane Worldwide Logistics UK Ltd between January 2009 and October 2017, and Manager of the Oil & Gas Division at Kuehne & Nagel from April 2007 to December 2008. Earlier in the career, Barnes was Head of Oil & Gas China at Panalpina China Ltd, and held various sales and marketing roles across the Panalpina organization in China and Southeast Asia from 1997 to 2006. Barnes began the professional journey as Senior Export Controller in July 1989 at Panalpina World Transport Ltd.
