Yaojiang Zhang

Yaojiang Zhang is a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Synopsys Inc since February 2023. Previously, Yaojiang Zhang served as Principal Research Engineer at Xpeedic Technology, Inc. from March 2020 to February 2023, focusing on efficient algorithms for signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and electromagnetic interference (EMI) simulation. Prior to that role, Yaojiang Zhang was Chief EMC Expert at Huawei, managing passive intermodulation (PIM) challenges related to base station antennas and reducing mutual coupling in antenna arrays from November 2014 to August 2019. Yaojiang Zhang's academic career includes positions as Associate Research Professor and Research Associate Professor at Missouri University of Science and Technology from April 2010 to November 2014, and a Research Scientist at the Institute of High Performance Computing in Singapore from September 2001 to April 2010. Yaojiang Zhang earned a PhD in Computational Electromagnetics from Peking University between 1996 and 1999, following a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science & Technology of China from 1986 to 1994.
