Shalin Dalal

Shalin Dalal is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Xperi Corporation since June 2021, Shalin previously held various senior leadership roles at MobiTV from April 2007 to May 2021, including Vice President of Engineering and Director of Engineering. At MobiTV, responsibilities included overseeing multiple technical verticals, building a light-weight Placement Opportunity Information Service, and developing a tiered CDN that supports significant streaming traffic. Shalin also focused on establishing design principles for microservices and automated testing to enhance delivery strategies. Earlier in the career, positions included Tech Lead at mPortal, Inc. and Software Engineer at Summus, Inc., with a strong foundation in software development and engineering management. Shalin holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications from Nirma Institute of Technology.
