Mikie Allan

Mikie Allan has worked for a variety of companies since 2014. From 2014-2016, they were a Residence Advisor (RA) at Western University, a Sports Coordinator at FairServices - WaaW, a Fellow at Cansbridge Fellowship, and a Summer Economics and Data Analyst at Husky Energy. From 2017-2018, they were a Partnerships Manager at FundThrough. From 2018-2021, they held various roles at Scotiabank Digital Factory, including Senior Digital Product Manager, Authentication, Digital Product Manager, Authentication, and Associate Product Owner. Mikie also worked as a Product Director at LoginID and is currently the Head of Product and Design at XpertSea.

Mikie Allan completed their Honors Business Administration (HBA) at Ivey Business School at Western University. Mikie then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Engineering Science (BESc) in Mechatronic Systems Engineering from Western University. In 2018, they completed a Specialization in Deep Learning from deeplearning.ai. In 2019, they obtained a Nanodegree in Data Structures and Algorithms from Udacity, and in 2020 they obtained a Nanodegree in React from Udacity. Additionally, Allan has obtained several certifications, including a Professional Scrum Product Owner I from Scrum.org in 2018, Chinese for HSK 1 from Coursera in 2018, Certified Simulation Associate (CSWA-S) from SOLIDWORKS Certification Center in 2017, and safeTALK: Suicide Prevention Assistance from LivingWorks Education in 2014.
