Matthias Friese

Matthias Friese is an experienced entrepreneur and investor currently serving as the founder of a stealth startup since November 2024. As a founding partner at XPRESS Ventures since September 2020, Matthias contributes to transforming technology-driven ideas into ventures within the logistics sector. Matthias also holds the position of managing partner at Apothera GmbH and is an advisory board member for Logistikbude. Additionally, Matthias is actively investing in multiple companies including Zenfulfillment, HomeRide, and Smace. Previous roles include director at FIEGE from 2019 to 2024 and co-founder of patronus.io, as well as serving as a strategy consultant at Retresco GmbH. Matthias Friese graduated with a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Nachrichtentechnik from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences.
