Kelby Price, CPIR has a long history of work experience, beginning in 2008 as a Financial Analyst at Scotiabank, Executive Office, Finance & Audit. From there, they moved to TD Securities as a Project Control Analyst and then to Nexen as a Trade Marketing Analyst. In 2011, they became an Investor Relations at Walton Capital Management, followed by a Sales Specialist at Pason in 2014. In 2015, they were hired as the Director of Sales and Marketing at IR Optimizer, and then as Vice President of Corporate Development at Labrador Technology, Inc. in 2018. In 2019, they became the Chief Operations Officer at YAT Group Inc. and most recently, in 2020, they were hired as the Vice President Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships and Corporate Development & Business Strategy at XQ.
Kelby Price, CPIR has an education history that includes a Ciri Ivey Investor Relations executive education from Ivey Business School at Western University in 2014-2015, a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from Dalhousie University in Commerce Finance & Marketing, and a program from Class Afloat - West Island College International. In addition, Kelby has obtained two certifications: a Certified Investor Relations Professional from the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) in September 2015, and a Life License Qualification Program from the Alberta Insurance Council.
