Cemal Akcaba

Cemal Akcaba is the Head of Trading Europe at XR Trading and has extensive experience in high-frequency statistical arbitrage research. Prior to their current role, Cemal worked at IMC - financial markets as the Futures Trading Lead and Senior Research Associate. Cemal also has a background in wireless communications research as a Research Assistant at ETH Zurich. Cemal holds a PhD in Communication Theory Group from ETH Zürich, an MEng in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the same institution.
