Dylan Heckbert

Dylan Heckbert, P.Eng has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dylan most recently worked at XSENSOR Technology Corporation, where they served as the Product Development Lead and Product Development Engineer from 2017 to the present. Prior to that, Dylan worked at Connect Engineering as a Pipeline Engineer, EIT, and was responsible for preparing material requisitions and coordinating with suppliers in 2016.

From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Three Streams Engineering Division, Amec Foster Wheeler Canada Ltd. as a Pipeline Engineer, EIT. In this role, Dylan evaluated and costed potential route changes for a pipeline project and managed cross-listings and design work. Dylan also reviewed and edited technical drawings and models for material and cost lists.

Dylan's earlier experience includes working at Stantec Consulting as an Intern Engineer in the Water Group, where they developed operating procedures and reviewed drawings for water and wastewater treatment facilities. Dylan also conducted research and data analysis for proposals and reports.

Additionally, Dylan has experience in different roles such as a Landscaper/Labourer at Exploron Corporation / Persimmon Contracting, an Instructor at the University of Calgary Dinos Soccer Camp, and an Apprentice Welder at Lynx Brand Fence Alta. Ltd.

Dylan Heckbert, P.Eng has a Certificate in Professional Management (PEG) from the University of Calgary, which they obtained in 2016. Dylan also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university, earned between 2007 and 2013. Prior to that, they attended Ernest Manning High School from 2004 to 2007.
