Dmitri Bourkovski has a diverse work experience in the gaming and technology industries. Dmitri started their career at Igromania magazine, where they worked as a freelancer and eventually became a senior editor. Dmitri then joined Noviy Disk as a Vice President of the Games Division, where they played a key role in launching the games business segment.
After that, Bourkovski created ND Videogames as a subsidiary of Noviy Disk, focusing on Nintendo distribution and brand promotion in Russia. Dmitri also served as the CEO of ND Videogames and successfully established it as a licensed Nintendo DS and Wii publisher.
Next, Bourkovski worked at Mail.Ru, the largest internet company in Eastern Europe, as the Head of Publishing in the Games Division. During their time there, they were responsible for setting up and supervising the games publishing division.
Bourkovski later joined Xsolla Capital as a Partner, where they worked with a $50 million venture capital fund focused on royalty-based deals within the video game market. Xsolla Capital provided independent video game developers with capital and access to innovative tools and markets.
Dmitri then joined Xsolla, a global publishing and distribution platform in the video game industry, as the VP of Global Business Development. During this time, they played a significant role in the company's growth and development. Dmitri eventually became the Chief Investment Officer of Xsolla.
Bourkovski currently serves as a Managing Partner at Joystick Ventures, a role they have held since December 2019. Dmitri is also a Board Member at Cubios Inc. (WOWCube®️), starting in August 2021.

From 1997 to 2002, they attended the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation, where they earned a degree in Law. During this period, their field of study primarily focused on the Legal discipline.
Dmitri further strengthened their knowledge and academic qualifications from 2002 to 2004 at The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). Here, they undertook doctoral studies but didn't complete their dissertation. Their field of study specifically pertained to Civil Law within the Legal realm.
