David Barbie

David Barbie is the SAB, Principal Founder at Xsphera Biosciences. Prior to this, they were the Lead/Scientist at Belfer Center for Applied Cancer Science and a Research Fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. David has also worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT where they developed and validated 3D-microenvironment devices for assaying EMT-blocking agents in human lung cancer cells. David also designed and implemented 3D-microenvironments devices for co-culture of human cells for angiogenesis research projects. David received their PhD from Cranfield University in 2008.

David Barbie has a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and Bioengineering from Cranfield University. David also has a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry from Coventry University. David Barbie is currently a Research Student in Theoretical Chemistry at Chalmers University of Technology.

They are on a team with Russ Jenkins - SAB, Principal Founder, Mike Perricone - CSO, Co-Founder, and Alyssa Martin - Director, Immunology. Their manager is Steve Remondi, CEO & Founder.
