Ian Lee

Ian Lee has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Ian is currently working as a Mentor at Hong Kong Life Sciences Society (HKLSS) since November 2022. Prior to this, they held several positions at XtalPi Inc., including Deputy CFO, Executive Director, VP Corporate Finance & Development, and VP of investment and acquisitions, from January 2019 to September 2022. Ian also served as a Board Member at Resolute Bio since July 2019. Ian was a General Partner at both Forcefield Ventures and Leather District Ventures, starting in 2019 and 2016 respectively, with their role at Forcefield Ventures ending in February 2022. Ian worked as an Investment Manager at Koa Fund from February 2014 to August 2016. Prior to that, they were an Analyst at DN Capital from January 2010 to July 2013, where they worked on social and mobile gaming investments, conducted market analysis, managed dealflow, and led due diligence projects. Additionally, Ian worked as a summer strategic associate at Alibaba.com in 2010.

Ian Lee attended Bowdoin College from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Government. In 2012, they also briefly studied Econometrics and Quantitative Economics at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Prior to their college education, they attended the Chinese International School from 2002 to 2009, completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) with a focus on Physics, Economics, Chemistry, and Chinese.
