Rani Wellingstein

Rani Wellingstein is a seasoned investor and advisor with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as an Investor and Advisor at Shopic since September 2020 and holding positions as a Seed Investor at Xyte and Qwak since April and December 2020, respectively, Rani also contributes to 8400 - The Health Network as a member of Cohort 4 since January 2021. As a mentor at Intel Ignite since October 2019, Rani previously co-founded and led Oryx Vision as CEO from March 2016 to December 2019, focusing on Lidar technology development. Rani's expertise extends to advisory roles such as Chairman at Finesse Partners for Baidu Inc. and a senior leadership position at Cisco as VP & GM of SON Software Solutions after the acquisition of Intucell, where Rani co-founded and served as CEO from September 2008 to February 2013. Rani's foundational education includes an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
