Polina Danshina

Polina Danshina is a Senior Scientist at Xyzagen, Inc. since November 2018, specializing in small molecules bioanalytical method development and sample analysis using LC-MS-MS, as well as lab and equipment maintenance. Danshina is responsible for developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for bioanalytical services related to pharmacokinetic and toxicokinetic assessments, and for writing high-quality GLP documentation and reports. Prior to this role, Danshina worked as a Scientist at Alera Labs, LLC from February 2017 to November 2018, where responsibilities included analytical testing, method development, and equipment calibration. Danshina's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University and a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Samara State University, with previous experience as a Research Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from June 2002 to June 2015.
