Dearbhla Ryan

Dearbhla Ryan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Dearbhla started their career in 2011 as a Sales Assistant at David Clulow Sunglasses, where they gained knowledge about the retail industry. In 2012, they worked as a Sales Assistant at the 7 For All Mankind Outlet, focusing on customer care and meeting targets. Dearbhla then worked as a part-time barmaid at Graces Pub from 2010 to 2013, learning to work under pressure and the importance of teamwork.

In 2016, Dearbhla worked as an Engineering Intern at Mainstream Renewable Power, researching solar technology and energy storage. Dearbhla then joined Deutsche Bank in 2017 as a Graduate Analyst, gaining experience in QA and Business Analysis roles. At DWS Group, they worked as a Product Owner/Business Analyst, supporting applications used by the Sales and Coverage team and working on strategic ESG projects.

Dearbhla's most recent role was at Pod Point Ltd., where they started as a Product Owner in 2020 and later transitioned into a Product Manager role. Here, they gained experience in managing products and overseeing their development.

Currently, Dearbhla Ryan is working as a Product Manager at Y TREE, a position they started in July 2023.

Dearbhla Ryan completed their education with a strong focus on engineering and physics. Dearbhla obtained a Master's Degree in Energy Systems Engineering from University College Dublin from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Physics with astronomy and space science from the same institution, studying from 2011 to 2015.

Before pursuing higher education, Dearbhla Ryan completed their Leaving Certificate from Newbridge College, Newbridge, Co. Kildare, between 2006 and 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Dearbhla Ryan has also obtained several certifications. Dearbhla received the Service Design: How to Design Integrated Service Experiences certification from The Interaction Design Foundation in May 2023 and the Product-led Certification from Pendo.io in January 2023. Dearbhla obtained the SAFe 4 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in July 2019 and the Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from the same institution in January 2020. Lastly, they received the Professional Recognition Award from City & Guilds in April 2015.
