Alyssa Marmer

Alyssa Marmer is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in health research and special needs coordination. Currently serving as a Data Research Associate at NYU Langone Health since September 2021, Alyssa specializes in managing patient information for breast cancer studies under Dr. Freya Schnabel. Alongside this role, Alyssa works as a Yachad Coordinator, overseeing a weekend social inclusion program for individuals with special needs. Alyssa's experience also includes volunteering in the emergency room at Jamaica Hospital, serving as an Emergency Medical Technician at Chasdei Devorah, and administering COVID vaccines in underserved communities across New York City. With a Bachelor's degree from Yeshiva University and previous research assistant positions in microbiology and SUMO protein studies, Alyssa combines healthcare, research, and community service to promote positive outcomes for diverse populations.
