Coordinator at Yachad

Talya Abrams is an accomplished individual with extensive experience in community engagement and research. Currently serving as the Assistant Head, Advisor, and Peer Mentor at NCSY since August 2022, Talya focuses on developing programs that foster unity and empowerment among teens. Talya also holds multiple roles including Coordinator at Yachad and Intern at Mass General Research Institute. Previous positions include Psychology Research Intern at the Cognition & Affective Disorders Lab and Research Assistant at the Relationship Pursuit and Maintenance Lab. As a Fellow/Student Leader at Yavneh on Campus, Talya actively contributes to building a vibrant Jewish community on college campuses. Additional experience includes working with foster children in Israel through Amit and advocating against anti-Semitism and dating violence through roles with the Israeli-American Council and Jewish Family & Children's Service of Greater Boston. Talya is pursuing undergraduate studies at Yeshiva University and has a background in financial technologies from The Wharton School along with participation in the Girls Who Code program.
