Dani Dayan currently serves as the Chairman of Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, since August 2021. Previously, Dani Dayan held the position of Consul General in New York for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel from August 2016 to July 2020, acting as a senior diplomatic representative for five states. From June 2007 to January 2015, Dani Dayan was the Chief Foreign Envoy and Chairman of The YESHA Council, where the international arm of the Council of Jewish Communities in Judea & Samaria was established. Dani Dayan also served as Chairman and CEO of Elad Software Systems, a leading IT firm in Israel, from April 1981 to April 2004. Earlier in their career, Dani Dayan was a Marketing Manager at Yael Group and attained the rank of Major during service in the Israel Defense Forces from November 1973 to June 1981. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Finance from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Computer Sciences from Bar-Ilan University.
