Sharon Kangisser Cohen

Sharon Kangisser Cohen has a diverse work experience in the field of Holocaust studies and Jewish history. Sharon currently serves as the Editor In Chief of Yad Vashem Studies at Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, starting in 2020. Sharon also holds the role of a Licensed Tour Guide in Israel as an independent contractor since 2021.

Prior to their current positions, Sharon was the Director of the Eli and Diana Zborowski Centre for the Study of the Holocaust and its Aftermath at Yad Vashem from 2016. Sharon also served as the Director of the Central Archive of the History of the Jewish People at the National Library of Israel from an unspecified date in 2016 until 2018.

Furthermore, Sharon has a significant role in the Oral History Division, where they served as the Academic Director from November 2009 until 2016.
