Mia Heewon Sohn

Mia Heewon Sohn is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in creating innovative visual content across various platforms. Currently serving as a Principal Designer at Yahoo since January 2022, Mia directs and develops premium design concepts while ensuring brand consistency through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Previously, at Verizon Media, Mia held multiple roles including Art Director and Senior Designer, leading a team in the successful rebranding of Yahoo Finance, resulting in significant increases in live and VOD viewership. Mia’s earlier experience includes positions at Yahoo as a Senior Motion Designer, at Fox Broadcasting Company as a Broadcast and Motion Designer, and at ESPN as a Broadcast Designer. Mia holds a Master of Fine Arts in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design - The New School.
