Ruby Rose

Ruby Rose is an accomplished software development professional with extensive experience in designing and optimizing distributed systems, microservices, and data security initiatives. As a Principal Software Development Engineer at Yahoo since March 2024, Ruby specializes in User Consent and Privacy systems, managing AWS infrastructure for the privacy organization. Previous roles include a Senior Software Engineer at Robinhood and a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services, where Ruby led significant security and data management projects. Ruby's diverse background also includes advisory work with the Transgender District SF and various academic roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Ruby holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego and is currently pursuing further education in Product Management and Strategy at The Wharton School.
