Mike Bruin

Mike Bruin has extensive experience in quality assurance and automation engineering, currently serving as a QA Automation Engineer and QA Engineer at August Home, Inc. since February 2017. Responsibilities include testing mobile applications for iOS and Android, verifying functionality with various smart home components, designing and developing automated scripts using Appium with Java, and conducting compatibility testing with major smart home platforms. Prior to this role, Mike worked as a QA Engineer at Nest, where analysis and testing of applications across multiple platforms were key tasks, and as a Quality Assurance Intern at ActiveTen. Educationally, Mike holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the National University of Educational Management and has completed a SQA Certification Program in 2015.
