Bowei Deng

Bowei Deng is a highly accomplished professional currently serving as a Blavatnik Associate at Yale Ventures and as Director of Ventures for Nucleate New Haven, both roles commenced in September and July 2024, respectively. Deng is also a Graduate Researcher at Yale University School of Medicine since August 2022 and has assumed leadership positions at the Yale Biotech Club as Vice President of Career Development and Director of Venture Capital Series since July 2023. Additionally, Bowei Deng holds a position as a Funded Trainee at the Yale Cancer Center. Previous experience includes a Venture Fellow role at DigitalDx Ventures, co-founding the Emory International Pre-Health Organization, serving as an Honors Research Assistant at Emory University School of Medicine, and completing summer research and financial analyst fellowships at Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals and China Merchants Bank, respectively. Bowei Deng is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology at Yale School of Medicine, following a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Chemistry from Emory University.
