Erick Lopez

Erick Lopez has a well-rounded work experience. Erick has held various leadership positions within the Yale College Council, including Junior Class Council Treasurer, Sophomore Class Council Internal Director, and First-Year Class Council Silliman Representative. Additionally, they have worked at The Silliman Acorn as a barista and in management. At Yale University, Erick has taken on roles such as Student Accommodation Services Peer Liaison, ADHD Support Group Facilitator, and Disability Peer Mentor. Erick has also served as the Director of Patient Services and a Bilingual Volunteer at HAVEN Free Clinic. Erick has been a Yale Wu Tsai Fellow at the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute and has been involved in the Yale University Dramatic Association as a Director, Actor, and Voice Actor. Furthermore, they have conducted research at the Yale University School of Medicine in various labs, including the HABIT Lab, Jensen Lab, and Blumenfeld Lab. Outside of Yale, Erick has been a Second-Year Liaison at MEChA de Yale, a Higher Education Mentor at Project Youth OCBF, and the Co-VP of Professional Development at Sube: Yale Latinx Business and Leadership Student Association. Overall, Erick's work experience demonstrates their versatility and commitment to various fields and organizations.

Erick Lopez attended Hector G. Godinez High School from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Erick then went on to Yale University, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Erick is specializing in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, as well as Psychology with a Concentration in Neuroscience. Erick's expected graduation year is 2024.
