George Kosimbei

George Kosimbei currently serves as Chief of Party at the YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa since May 2022. Previous roles include Director of Innovation Incubation & University Industry Linkages and Senior Lecturer in Economics at Kenyatta University, where teaching responsibilities extended to various positions in the Chandaria Business Innovation and Incubation Centre. Kosimbei has consulted for multiple organizations, including Options Consultancy Services and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), focusing on family planning, health systems, and economic analyses. An academic background in economics from Kenyatta University culminated in a Ph.D., alongside a substantial history of contributions to health and economic policy initiatives in Kenya and South Sudan.
