Craig Hagan

Craig Hagan possesses extensive experience in health, safety, and training management across various sectors, with a current role as Head of Training & Safety Culture at Yancoal Australia Ltd since April 2018, where responsibilities include strategic development and continuous improvement of safety culture and training operations. As Chairperson of the Health & Safety Task Group for ACARP since July 2019, Craig leads a committee of health and safety professionals to oversee research project approvals within the Australian Coal Mining sector. Previous roles include National HSE Manager at Life Without Barriers, where leadership and strategic governance for national operations were provided, and General Manager positions at multiple organizations focusing on safety products, consultancy services, and training. Craig also served as a member of the Coal Mining Industry Reference Committee within the NSW Minerals Council, contributing to national training package development relevant to coal mining operations.
