Alexander Chistyakov is an experienced data scientist currently serving as the group leader for simulation algorithm development at Yandex since June 2020, with previous roles at Yandex Self-Driving Cars and Yandex.Dzen. Prior to Yandex, Alexander worked at Kaspersky from July 2015 to June 2020, where notable contributions included the development of a machine learning-based malicious behavior detection system that earned recognition as "Innovation of the Year 2016". Research results have been presented at leading international conferences such as ICLR and AVAR. Additional experience includes teaching programming at the National Research University — Higher School of Economics and mentoring students in algorithms and data structures. Alexander holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Higher School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
