Alvaro Vasquez De la Vega is a seasoned operations leader with extensive experience in managing and optimizing business operations across various companies. At Yango, Alvaro has held the titles of Head of Operations and City Manager, focusing on strategic growth and operational efficiency. Previously, Alvaro contributed to PedidosYa as Partner Operations Manager and Operations Manager, enhancing partner relationships and operational effectiveness. Alvaro also served as Country Manager for both Easy (Easy Taxi) and Sportronics LTDA, demonstrating a strong capability in overseeing national operations and market expansion. Alvaro is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Economics and Administrative Sciences with a focus on Business/Managerial Economics at Universidad del Valle, expected to complete the degree in February 2026.
