Atin Tomar

Atin Tomar has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Atin is currently the Founder & CEO of Yapan Bio, a biotechnology company focused on the development and manufacturing of vaccines and biologics. Prior to this, Atin was the President of CPL Biologicals Pvt. Ltd., a joint-venture biotechnology company. Atin also served as the Director of Business Development, Alliance & Program Management at the International Vaccine Institute, and as the Vice President of Business Development, Program and Alliance Management at MSD Wellcome Trust Hilleman Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. Atin has also held positions at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Syngene International Limited, Amgen, and Human Genome Sciences, where they gained experience in areas such as business development, program management, and process development. Throughout their career, Atin has successfully managed teams, implemented quality and regulatory requirements, and facilitated the development and manufacturing of biopharmaceutical products.

Atin Tomar has a diverse educational background. In 1995, they began their undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, where they obtained a B.Tech. (Hons) degree in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering in 1999. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biological Engineering from The University of Georgia from 1999 to 2002. Later, in 2009, Atin attended the Indian School of Business for a year, earning an MBA degree with a focus on Finance and Strategy & Leadership.
