Kavita Herbert

Kavita Herbert is the Founder and CEO of BackBone, a gamified B2B matchmaking platform, recognized as a winner at the CommBank Emerging Tech Startup Pitch Fest and Silicon Beach Digital Innovation Pitch Challenge in 2023. In addition to leading BackBone, Kavita holds partnership roles at SkillsTX, YäRKEN, and Colibo A/S, and serves as Managing Director at K-Factor Advisory, aiding technology and SaaS businesses in revenue expansion across APAC and EMEA. Kavita is an Executive Member of Pavilion and an SBE Australia Alumni, having completed a startup accelerator program. Previously, Kavita held significant roles at Templafy, Uber, and Dropbox, where achievements included establishing regional presence, leading high-performing teams, and exceeding revenue targets. Kavita holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from RV College Of Engineering.
