Mwaffaq Otoom

Mwaffaq (Mof) Otoom currently serves as Vice President at Yarmouk University, a position held since September 2024, in addition to a long-standing role as Professor of Computer Engineering at the same institution since June 2012. Mwaffaq has undertaken various significant leadership roles, including Director of International Relations and Projects, Dean of the Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology, and Director of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center. Mwaffaq’s prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at both Virginia Tech and Arizona State University, as well as a Teaching and Research Assistant at Yarmouk University. Mwaffaq holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech, a Master's degree from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor's degree from Yarmouk University.
