Mike Knapek

Mike Knapek has had extensive work experience in various leadership roles at Yaskawa America Inc. Mike served as Chairman starting from March 2023. Prior to that, they had been the CEO, President & COO, and Sr. Vice President of Yaskawa America starting from 2001. In addition, they also held the position of Corporate Vice President at Yaskawa Electric Corporation from March 2015. Before joining Yaskawa America, they worked as the Vice President of Sales Marketing at Yaskawa/Magnetek Drives Division from January 1986 to January 2001.

Mike Knapek completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Marquette University between 1981 and 1985. Mike later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Business from the Lubar College of Business from 1997 to 1999.
