Tony Z. has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and project management.

From 2014 to present, they have been an Associate Chief Software Engineer at Yaskawa Motoman Robotics, where they design and develops custom software interfaces for Life Science Automation Systems. Their responsibilities include ensuring interoperability of health and medical transactions through industry standard HL7 messaging.

Prior to that, from 2006 to 2014, Tony Z. worked as a Senior Software Design Engineer at Jabil Circuit, Inc. In this role, they planned, scoped, estimated, and led large software development and systems integration projects. Tony also created a SEMI E87 compliant factory host communications interface to maintain and represent object state models and transitions.

Before joining Jabil Circuit, Inc., Tony Z. held multiple roles at SSI Robotics from 1996 to 2006. Tony started as an IT Professional, where they promoted the company website to the top of Google rankings using SEO techniques and drove new leads to the sales team. Later, they were promoted to Software Engineer Project Manager, leading a cross-functional team in the development of complex automated laboratory systems. Tony also built an API to sort, label, and track SBS tube racks.

Tony Z. attended California State University, Long Beach from 1998 to 2002. Tony obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Computer Engineering.
