Hanim Samara has over 10 years of professional experience. Hanim began their career in 2006 as an Intern at the National AIDS Fund, where they conducted research and worked to develop strategies for effective HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns in the Philadelphia area. In 2008, they worked as a Consultant for the U.S. Department of Labor, creating an outreach campaign for the Russian community in Philadelphia, PA and surrounding suburban areas. That same year, they also began their role as Senior Editorial Director at Trueline Publishing, interviewing Fortune 500 CEOs, presidents, and directors to produce articles for the various publications. In 2011, they worked as a Legal Intern at JR Howell & Associates, performing various aspects of litigation preparation. In 2012, they held two positions, Law Clerk at DB Capitol Strategies and Senior Editorial Director at Trueline Publishing. In 2013, they worked as a Juvenile Paralegal Specialist, Public Safety Division at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. In 2015, they were a Legal Specialist at the U.S. Secret Service, evaluating cases related to the seizure and forfeiture of assets involved in fraudulent and financial crimes. In 2016, they worked as an Attorney I at the U.S. Department of Education. Hanim is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Yazmi USA LLC since 2017.
Hanim Samara obtained their Bachelor's degree in Communications with a focus on Public Relations, Political Science, and Arabic from Temple University in 2008. Afterward, they obtained a Certificate of Specialization in Arabic from Temple University. In 2010, they began their Doctor of Law (J.D.) at Howard University School of Law and graduated in 2014.
