Clement James

Clement James, CPA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Financial Reporting & Controller at Year Up since March 2018. Previously, Clement held the position of SVP Finance and Administration/CFO at Nurtury from October 2000 to August 2017, overseeing financial functions in a nonprofit organization. Prior roles include Chief Financial Officer at Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center, Inc., Audit and Compliance Manager at Harvard University’s Office of Sponsored Research, and Independent Consultant. Clement also worked as an Audit Supervisor at Daniel Dennis & Co., CPA’s and as a Cost Accountant at Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. Clement earned a Master's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from UMass Boston between 1981 and 1984.
