Cécile Gasser has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and microbiology. Cécile most recently worked at Yeasty as a Biotechnology Manager, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they were a Fermentation Project Leader at Global Bioenergies from May 2022 to September 2022.
Cécile's earlier experience includes working as a PhD Student at Danone Nutricia Research from April 2019 to April 2022. During this time, they conducted their PhD thesis in Microbiology, focusing on carbohydrate metabolism in lactic acid bacteria. Cécile was involved in various aspects of the research, including microbial cultivation, modelization, bioinformatics, analytical methods, biochemistry, molecular biology, and lactic acid bacteria physiology.
Before their PhD, Cécile had an Engineer internship at Institut du Cerveau – Paris Brain Institute from February 2018 to August 2018.
Cécile Gasser pursued their education in the field of Microbiology and successfully obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Université Paris-Saclay. This educational journey took place from 2019 to 2022. Prior to this, Cécile completed an Engineer's degree in Biotechnology from École de Biologie Industrielle, although the duration of this degree is unknown.
