Markus Grompe, M.D. has extensive work experience in the medical and research field. Markus began their career in 1991 as a Professor at OHSU, where they contributed to the academic community for an undisclosed period of time. In 2007, Dr. Grompe founded Yecuris Corp. and served as Chairman of the Board, providing scientific consultation and guidance for the company's research and development projects. Markus was involved in the development of new chimeric humanization models and other technological improvements. Additionally, in 2018, Dr. Grompe became the Scientific Founder of Ambys Medicines, where they made significant contributions until November 2022, focusing on scientific advancements in the field.
Markus Grompe, M.D. began their education in 1976 at Ulm University, where they pursued a degree in Medicine. Markus studied there until 1983 and obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Following this, from 1984 to 1987, they attended Oregon Health & Science University for a Pediatric Residency. After completing their residency, Markus undertook a Medical Genetics Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine from 1987 to 1991.
