Social Media Support Analyst at Yellow Card App

Lydia Fumnanya Onowu has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and social media. Lydia Fumnanya is currently working as a Social Media Support Analyst at Yellow Card App since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Communications Manager at IST print from September 2020 to May 2021. In this role, they developed and implemented communication strategies, prepared media reports and marketing materials, and managed the website and social media channels for the company.

Before their role at IST print, Lydia worked as a Head, Customer Retention Specialist at Infostrategy Technology from March 2019 to September 2020. Lydia Fumnanya assisted in improving the customer retention process, maintained relations with new and existing customers, and performed detailed analysis and research on customer retention issues.

Lydia also gained experience as a Social Media Manager at iRecharge Tech innovations from September 2018 to March 2019. Here, they managed social media platforms and content for the company.

Their earlier experience includes working as the Head of New Media at Africa Independent Television from July 2016 to September 2018. In this role, they researched and produced media materials, provided communications advice to senior staff, and managed various social media outlets for the organization. Overall, Lydia has demonstrated expertise in communication strategies, social media management, and customer relations.

Lydia Fumnanya Onowu obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science Education from Ekiti State University (EKSU) between 2009 and 2013. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications in various fields. In 2017, they completed a certification in Social Media Marketing from SO ME Academy. In 2018, they obtained certifications in Google Analytics for Beginners from Google Analytics Academy and Strategies for Personal Growth and Development from the Young African Leadership Initiative. Furthermore, in 2018, they completed a certification in Digital Marketing and Advertising from Google Digital Skills for Africa. Most recently, in 2022, they obtained a certification in Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design from Coursera.
