Jay Livingood

CEO and Guy Who Started It at Yellow Dog Software

Jay Livingood has extensive work experience in the software development and hospitality industry. Jay started their career at Integrated Business Systems in 1993, where they served as the Director of National Accounts. During their ten-year tenure, they significantly expanded the client base and personally sold over 700 club installations. In 2003, Jay formed Ally Systems, a company specializing in providing POS systems to restaurants and retailers, and successfully grew it to over 100 clients before selling it to a larger IT company in 2005.

Afterwards, Jay joined OpenCourse as the Managing Director, where they oversaw operations and sales for a software development company catering to the resort and hospitality market. Jay'sresponsibilities included managing opportunities arising from the Micros Opera sales team. In 2006, they co-founded Yellow Dog Software and assumed the roles of President and CEO. Jay remained in these positions until February 2023, when they became the CEO and Guy Who Started It at Yellow Dog Software.

In addition to their professional endeavors, Jay became the Green Committee Chairman at BAYVILLE GOLF CLUB in 2022.

Jay Livingood attended Herndon High School from 1983 to 1986. After completing high school, they enrolled at James Madison University from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a BBA degree in Management.
