The Engineering Team at Yellow Jacket Space Program is responsible for the design, development, and testing of the program's liquid-fueled sounding rocket. This includes overseeing the structural integrity, propulsion systems, fluid dynamics, avionics, and software required to ensure the launch vehicle can carry a 10 kilogram scientific payload past the 100 kilometer Kármán line and return safely. The team collaborates closely across various engineering disciplines to tackle complex, real-world aerospace challenges, fostering advanced technical skills and innovative problem-solving abilities among its members.
