Gareth Williams

Gareth Williams has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Gareth'smost recent position is Chief Product & Technology Officer at Efficio, where they have been working since May 2022. Prior to that, Gareth was an On Deck Fellow at On Deck in 2021. In the same year, they held two roles at Helastel: Managing Director - Product and Acting Head of Product.

Before joining Helastel, Gareth founded and served as CEO of YellowDog from 2015 to 2020. During their time at YellowDog, they achieved significant growth and secured multi-million pounds in funding. Gareth also worked as an Advisor at boardroom advisors from 2021 to 2022.

Earlier in their career, Gareth held positions at Arieso as a VP Product Management from 2012 to 2015 and at Experian QAS UK as a Global Product Management Director and later as Head of Product Management from 2009 to 2012. Gareth was also previously employed at FREEDOM4 as Head of Sales, Marketing & Products in 2008.

Gareth's early career includes roles at Orange, where they worked as Head of Solution Products from 2005 to 2008, Product Development Manager from 2003 to 2005, and Solutions Integration Designer in 2002.

Gareth Williams obtained their MEng degree in Information Systems Engineering from Durham University, completing their studies from 1996 to 2000. In 2003, they pursued certifications in Networking from Cisco, achieving CCDA and CCNA. Additionally, during the same year, they obtained a PRINCE2 certification in Project Management from OGC. In 2004, Gareth completed a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, completing the program in 2005.
