Vaibhav Bakhshi

Vice President of Design at Yellowfirst

Vaibhav Bakhshi has an extensive work experience in various design roles. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Research Associate at RA Lab, School of Planning, CEPT University, Ahmedabad. In 2009, they served as an Industrial Design Trainee at Auroville Renewable Energy, Center for Scientific Research, where they designed an innovative form for Solar Street Lights. In 2010, they joined Globant in India as a User Experience Designer, collaborating with clients to convert their vision into meaningful requirements. Vaibhav also created mind-maps, workflow diagrams, and wireframes for Information Architectures. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as an Assistant Professor at FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE, UPTU, LUCKNOW. In 2016, they founded Vector Bender Design Consultancy. The same year, they became a Senior Project Associate at National Institute of Design. In 2017, they joined YellowFirst : Humanizing Digital Experience as an Associate Senior Designer, and later in 2019, they became the Vice President of Design at the same company. Throughout their career, Vaibhav has contributed to various fields, including Industrial Design, Branding Design, Identity Design, and Experience Design.

Vaibhav Bakhshi completed their education history as follows:

From 2008 to 2010, Vaibhav attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and obtained a Master of Design (M.Des.) degree in Industrial Design.

Prior to that, from 2003 to 2008, they studied at the Government College of Architecture, Lucknow, India and obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree with a specialization in Architecture.

From 1990 to 2001, Vaibhav attended City Montessori School in Lucknow, India, where they completed their intermediate education. During this time, their field of study consisted of Mathematics and Science.

In addition to their formal education, Vaibhav also acquired the certification of Duolingo Spanish Fluency: Beginner (Estimated) from Duolingo in April 2016.
