Marcel Ruijs has extensive work experience in sales and account management roles. Marcel started their career as a Management Consultant at SCT Adviesdiensten B.V. in 1991 and worked there until 1997. Marcel then served as an Account Manager at Parity from 1998 to 1999 and at Solipsis from 1999 to 2001. After that, Marcel worked at ICT Automatisering as an Operations Manager from 2001 to 2008, where they managed large accounts and led ICT professionals. Marcel joined VX Company in 2008, initially as a Business Unit Manager for Business Critical Systems, responsible for the P&L of the business unit. Marcel then transitioned to the role of Corporate Sales, where they were responsible for key account management and acquisition. Marcel worked at Profource as an Account Manager from 2013 to 2016, focusing on large account management, new business, and acquisitions. Marcel then joined Valid as a Business Development and Account Manager from 2017 to 2018, where they managed existing customers and developed new business in the finance industry. Currently, Marcel Ruijs serves as a Sales and Account Manager at Yenlo, a global integration specialist, since 2018.
Marcel Ruijs has a Master's degree or doctorate (MSc. / drs.) in Business Economics / Bedrijfseconomie from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Prior to that, they completed their VWO (Voorbereidend Wetenschappelijk Onderwijs) at Minkema College.
